Corvet 038 (Pre-owned, 1983, ex. USSR)

Corvete-038 (ex. USSR, 1983) is a top class direct drive stereo electric turntable (not new).

Since 1983, the Corvete-038-stereo electric player has been produced by the Ladoga Kirov Plant (USSR).
The tonearm uses viscous dynamic damping of the main resonance in the horizontal and vertical planes. 
The clamping force regulator and the shear force compensator provide a load on the needle within 0 ... 25 mN and its uniform pressure on both sides of the groove. 
The pickup head is magnetic type GZM-018 Corvete (if necessary, replaced by Audio-Technica VM95SH), the needle holder is made of Beryllium, which reduced the mass of the moving system to 0.8 mg.

The EPU has a record cleaner and an auto-stop that turns off the power to the engine and raises the pickup above the record.
